Since her inceptions she has earned a place with all the other magical Princesses created by Disney like Princess Jasmine and Princess Cinderella.

The story of Beauty and the Beast puts Belle in a small French town where her father goes missing. In his absence Gaston tries to force her to marry him. Not wanting to take that choice she flees to a mysterious castle in hopes of finding her father. She finds him in the dungeon of the old castle being guarded by a hideous beast. She offers her own freedom in exchange for her father’s freedom. The creature agrees and releases Maurice her father from the dungeon. The beast is very moved by Belles closeness to her father and he can’t help but to have attraction towards her boldness and bravery. Belle on the other hand is not as moved by the beast. She is initially hesitant to become close to the beast, rejecting him at every turn. Eventually, she see’s past the beast exterior build and begins to interact with it. The beast over time develops civil manners towards Belle with the help of enchanted furnishings and a bond is formed between the beast and Belle. The Beast falls head over heels in Love with Belle and he denies his feeling believing that she would never feel the same way towards him in return. Belle after a while gains a reprieve from the Beast to see her sickly father who tries to rescue her. During the visit Gaston once again comes to ask her hand in marriage, but once again she denies him. Angered by another rejection, he gathers a mob to confront the Beast in the castle. After a long tussle Gaston falls in a ravine and the Beast is stabbed and falls in the arms of Belle and dies. But just when all hope is gone, Belle reveals her love for the Beast also as the last rose peddle falls off of a magical rose. Belles love revives the Beast and the Beast turns into a Prince and his kingdom is also revived with the dark cloud of a curse removed. He and all of his furnishings return back to their former human states and Belle and the Prince live together happy ever after.
